Invited lecture: Prof. Ewa Łakoma

This morning, we counted on the presence of Professor Ewa Łakoma, from the Military University of Technology of Warsaw (Poland), in our Statistics class.

Prof. Łakoma is doing a one-week stage in the UPV, via the Erasmus program for teachers. As a part of her activity here, she gave a lecture on Probability and Statistics to my Statistics class in the 2nd year of the Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Electronics and Automation Engineering.

The lecture dealt with the topics covered during the current midterm, and therefore it helped the students to remember and practice what we have already seen at class. It also gave them a different and complementary view on how to tackle some types of exercises.

To sum up, it was definitely an interesting experience that broke our routine and broadened our vision on teaching/learning Statistics.

Dziękuję for your presence and your kindness, Prof. Łakoma!
